Tomek Günzel is a composer and sound designer who works on the intersection of classical film scoring and modern textural sound design. His process is rooted in exploration: reshaping acoustic sources, merging classical instrumentation with modern textural approaches, and crafting hybrid musical landscapes that sit between score and sound design. The result is atmospheric, emotionally driven work with a distinctive sense of depth and character.
With a background in audio engineering and experience as a mixing engineer, Tomek approaches composition through both musicality and detailed sound craft. His work spans fiction, documentary and commercial projects, creating cinematic worlds through texture, space and tone. He collaborates closely with directors and agencies to develop a sound that strengthens narrative and identity.
Driven by an ongoing curiosity for sound, Tomek draws inspiration from real-world materials, field recordings and everyday environments.
